Embracing nature.

HAHA. As my blog title goes, we were embracing nature in its finest.
Actually no la, exaggerated one.
The MET 4 JIAOS actually wanted to meet up and camp overnight at East Coast Park. (Last Friday)
As in, really camp, pitching tents and stuff, not just to camp(ton) overnight.

But end up there were little notches and stuff that obstructed everyone from turning up on that day.
So yeah, yes, we still pitched a tent and stuff, but did not seat in there for long.







A few hours of playing heart attack, indian poker, running around the sand like dogs, and Jerry had to leave. :(
We didn't want to sleep, so we went prawning and whatsnots!
Was Jac & Mel's first time prawning, Jiawei and me second time!









We camped there for like more than an hour with the failure of not catching any prawn at all. haha.
They did not refill the prawn pond!!!
15 BUCKS FOR A FREAKING HOUR, how can they do this!
And before we reached there at 3-4+am, were already many people sitting there camping with huge catches of prawns! :(
P/s: A good advice is to go fish at 1+2+am! Still got time to snatch with people!(:

Finally Jiawei caught our very first one!
This was when the place was already quite empty of people. (5/6+am)
We had no idea how to pull off its blue pincers and none of us actually dared to grab the prawn bare handed & throw it back into the net! Haha.

So, we asked this group of teens to help us.
They looked very unapproachable and intimidating, but it turns out that they were actually very nice!
They donated to us 5 or 6 of their prawns i think, making our catch total up to 9.
But one flipped over the sink while we were washing it.
AND IT JUST HAD TO BE THE FATTEST ONE. LOL.
So as you can see, we had 8 left to barbecue and eat.



Jac & mel were actually kinda reluctant to eat at first, cos they were saying how pitiful the prawn had looked when we had captured it and had poked them with our sticks.
End up still munch la of course. Super fresh and nice yeah(:



Caught the sunrise, slacked around in the tent, and all of us packed up and headed for breakfast @Mac!





Oh, i fell sick right after. I wonder why.
Achoo-ed like mad at Mac for a freaking 20+ times, and my eye became swollen.
Dad says it's due to the pulling of the nerves at the eyes due to my violent achoo-.-
