Noise Singapore 2010

I can't study if I've not blogged yet.
It's become such a habitual routine to blog everyday.
If I don't blog now, I will keep delaying and might probably end up blogging only a week later or so, when I've forgotten everything I wanna post/share here.
So... here I am again!

"The blind" - I LOVE THIS(Y)

Yesterday shan and I visited the Noise Singapore 2010, situated opposite *scape!
It's kinda like a makeshift art gallery, to showcase the winning pieces submitted by youths to adults. (age limit below 35 yrs though)
And these art pieces range from literary to musical works, not just limited to drawings and photography.
Some of the pieces were really abstract, loved it!
The way these people incorporate modern and the past within a hidden meaning in their art is just amazing. (Y)

Now I can really conclude that I'm a artsy-watsy person.
I like the idea of visiting art galleries/musicals/cultural stuff/doing photoshoots/tumblr-ing the whole day/dance/singing/photography/drawings/modelling/designing/fashion......
You catch my drift huh, practically anything related to the arts scene.
You name it, I probably have some interest in it.
And my perception of stuff have always been unique and weird, most people with some 'art blood' in them are like that too right?
"Sports celebration" - can spot which sports have been drawn in?

Wanna study at La-salle, too bad not talented enough.
Jack of all trades, master of none.
But getting to appreciate these art stuff makes me pretty satisfied and happy too!
Even if I'm unable to draw, at least I have the passion to pursue arts in other forms. ^^

"Hands Up!" - cute pic!

And why I spam tumblr so often?
Because I love appreciating those pretty pictures people capture and share online, and I love reblogging them to spread to others my love for pretty images too!
A friend of mine once mentioned, "Tumblr is for emo people only"
I highly disagree, in fact, only people who don't know how to appreciate the arts and the depth of life see no point in using Tumblr.
Just like how chocolate releases endorphins to make you happy, Tumblr has the same effect on me, and it's also my form of escape when I'm feeling down.

After much consideration, one point I agree with - the artsy people are more emotional/vulnerable, have the tendency to face depression, which we express out in the form of art.
We tend to daydream, think deep about life and other stuff, and like to recluse ourselves from time to time.
Which brings about the sentence "art people are often weird/act weirdly".

"My old new phone" - LOVE THIS MAX!

And upon further thought, I've decided that I like to be around friends who are able to appreciate art in some way or other.
This way, they'll appreciate my interests and we'll be on the same wavelength whenever I wanna share something nice with them.
Not like people who don't give a hoot about art at all, where I'll have more difficulty expressing myself in front of them.

THEREFORE, ON TOP OF THAT, MY FUTURE BF/HUSBAND HAS TO BE SOMEONE WHO IS A LITTLE ARTISTICALLY INCLINED or else there will be no one to accompany me to musicals and such. HAHA
And I definitely want to be around someone who's able to appreciate art with me in the long-term. Only that way will be able to bring out the best interests in each other right!
If he can draw/paint well, all the better cos he could draw/sketch a self portrait of me, like how my dad did for my mum.
Oh why din't my dad pass on his good drawing genes to me. Haha

BUT I DONTWANT SOMEONE TOO ARTISTIC AND TOO EMOTIONAL.
Too overbearing for me to tahan!
